About Shaakuntalam Movie (2023)

The love story of King Dushyant (Dev Mohan) and Shakuntala (Samantha Ruth Prabhu), the daughter of sage Vishwamitra and nymph Menaka. Destiny brings the two back together, after the king forgets all about her due to a sage’s curse, which forms the rest of the story. Based on Kalidasa’s popular Sanskrit play Abhijnana Shakuntalam.
